Tyler, The Creator recently complimented Jackson State University‘s band for performing one of his songs.
On Saturday, Jackson State’s marching band, the Sonic Boom of the South, gave a standout show as the Tigers took on the Alabama State University Hornets. Online clips of the performance featured the band offering its rendition of Tyler’s song “Sticky” featuring GloRilla, Sexyy Red and Lil Wayne, from his latest album, Chromakopia, left Tyler impressed.
He retweeted one of the videos, writing, “THIS IS WHY I MADE STICKY!!!!!! THIS IS WHY I ARRANGED IT THAT WAY. THIS BEAUTIFUL MY HEART IS FILLED.”
Others chimed in, which led to positive online conversations about the Sonic Boom.
