Popular social media influencer Corey Pritchett Jr., known for his YouTube channel “Life With CoreySSG,” is facing aggravated kidnapping charges following an alleged incident involving two women in Houston, Texas. Authorities report that Pritchett has fled to Qatar, complicating efforts to bring him to justice.

Court documents reveal that the incident began on November 22, 2024, when Pritchett, who has amassed over 15 million followers across various social media platforms, met one of the victims and exchanged contact information. The following day, both women joined Pritchett and his friends for several social activities, including a workout session, ATV riding, and bowling.

The situation allegedly took a dark turn at the bowling alley when Pritchett and his companions began exhibiting suspicious behavior, apparently due to a dispute with another group. After the women suggested leaving for safety reasons, they later contacted Pritchett to retrieve their belongings from his car.

According to investigators, what began as an offer to drive the women home evolved into a terrifying ordeal. Pritchett allegedly deviated from the planned route, claiming he was being followed, and began driving at dangerous speeds exceeding 100 mph on Interstate 10. During this time, prosecutors say he brandished a gold-colored handgun and fired several rounds through the vehicle’s sunroof.

The victims reported that Pritchett confiscated their phones and made explicit death threats. In a disturbing development, investigators say Pritchett conducted a video call with another woman, discussing harming the victims. The ordeal ended when Pritchett allegedly ordered the women out of the vehicle near Sealy, Texas, leaving them stranded on the highway. They walked for over an hour before being assisted by a passing motorist who contacted law enforcement.

Investigators have corroborated the victims’ account using GPS data from a Life 360 app installed on one of their phones. The investigation also involved reaching out to Pritchett’s ex-wife, Carmen Pritchett, a prominent YouTuber with over 5 million Instagram followers.

FBI records indicate that Pritchett purchased a one-way ticket and departed for Qatar on December 9, 2024, after posting on social media about “leaving the country to start a new life in Dubai.” Law enforcement agencies are now working on extradition efforts to return Pritchett to the United States to face charges.

The case has drawn significant attention due to Pritchett’s status as a social media personality, with his YouTube channel boasting more than 917,000 subscribers. Authorities are urging anyone with information about Pritchett’s whereabouts to contact the FBI.
