Police have identified the woman accused of shooting at Rihanna‘s Beverly Hills home on Sunday.
Details on the charges against Ivanna Lisette Ortiz and what she’s accused of
Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 35, was booked on attempted murder charges, and her bail has been set at $10,225,000, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter.
As Blavity reported, police responded to calls of a shooting after a female suspect fired several shots into the pop star’s Beverly Glen mansion at around 1:21 p.m. on Sunday. She was parked across the street in a white Tesla and shot at the exterior of the home before she fled the scene.
Officers and an LAPD helicopter followed the woman into the parking garage of a shopping center and arrested her. LAPD radio dispatch confirmed that at least 10 shots were fired into the home.
Police said Ortiz used an AR-15 assault rifle, and multiple shell casings were found at the scene.
Rihanna was reportedly home at the time of the shooting; no injuries were reported in the incident, and police are still working on a motive now that Ortiz has been identified as the shooter.

New details have been released following the reveal of Ortiz’s identity. According to the Daily Mail, the reported “bible influencer” took to Facebook on Feb. 23 and shared a message directly targeting the “Diamonds” singer.
Ortiz shared a photo of herself dressed up, wearing a leopard print top, and wrote: “@badgalriri Are you there? Cause I was waiting for your AIDS 5-head self to say something to me directly instead of sneaking around like you talking to me where I’m not at.”
The 35-year-old had also shared other posts calling out the Savage Fenty creator, saying she was “threw [sic] with Rihanna” and calling her a “turn hiding b***h.”
Ortiz also has prior arrests for domestic violence, careless driving and violating pretrial release conditions in Florida, according to the Daily Mail.
In December, she filed an appeal to overturn a decision in her home state after her former partner was awarded custody of their child in the case.
