What will ‘Missing You’ be about?
Per its official Netflix description:
MISSING YOU focuses on Kat Donovan (Eleazar), a detective specializing in Missing Persons. Eleven years ago, her fiance Josh, the love of her life, vanished without a trace, and she hasn’t heard from him since. Now, swiping profiles on a dating app, she suddenly sees his face and her world explodes all over again. Josh’s unexpected reappearance will force her to dive back into the mystery surrounding her father’s murder and uncover long-buried secrets from her past.
The series follows Netflix’s other Coben series, Fool Me Once, which had 108 million viewers on Netflix, the streaming giant reported.
Like other Coben adaptations, the story moves from the United States to the UK. The series was filmed in and around Manchester and the North West of England.
Victoria Asare-Archer is the lead writer. Nimer Rasheed and Isher Sahota are directors. Guy Hescott produces, with Coben, Nicola Shindler, Richard Fee, Asare-Archer and Danny Brocklehurst executive producing.
The series is produced by Quay Street Productions (part of ITV Studios). Coben executive produces through his Final Twist Productions banner.
