What You Need To Know About The ‘DWTS’ Announcement Of Its First Fan Convention

Dancing With the Stars is bringing the ballroom to life with its first fan convention and live show, which kicks off this summer.

On Tuesday, Good Morning America announced the news, stating that the Dancing With the Stars convention will be a three-day immersive experience for fans, allowing them to meet some of their favorite professional dancers and former celebrity contestants while taking in everything the event has to offer, according to Variety and ABC News.

Ryan O’Dowd, president of unscripted at BBC Studios, said how excited fans of the longest-running dance competition will be to participate in the convention and connect with other like-minded individuals through dance.

“Dancing With the Stars has always been about more than just competition; it’s about courage, connection, and the unforgettable moments that bring people together through dance,” Variety reported O’Dowd said. “For years, our fans have been clamoring for even more ways to engage with the show, and we’re thrilled to have created this rare and immersive opportunity to experience the magic, the music, the movement, the emotion, and the heart that continues to make this show so special.”

Where will the Dancing With the Stars convention be?

The convention will be held at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, California.

When is it happening?

The three-day event will take place July 31 through Aug. 2, 2026.

What DWTS pros and celebrities are scheduled to attend?

There will be 17 pros and 14 former celebrity contestants at this year’s inaugural DWTS convention. Here’s everyone who will be there.

The pros include Brandon Armstrong, Lindsay Arnold, Rylee Arnold, Alan Bersten, Hailey Bills, Sharna Burgess, Witney Carson, Val Chmerkovskiy, Sasha Farber, Jenna Johnson, Daniella Karagach, Pasha Pashkov, Jan Ravnik, Gleb Savchenko, Emma Slater, Ezra Sosa and Britt Stewart.

Former contestants and mirrorball winners include Hannah Brown, Danielle Fishel, Xochitl Gomez, Joey Graziadei, Elaine Hendrix, Rashad Jennings, Amanda Kloots, Whitney Leavitt, Phaedra Parks, Jojo Siwa, Johnny Weir, Rumer Willis, Kristi Yamaguchi and Ginger Zee.

DWTS judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli will also attend, with more being announced soon.

“It’s really cool because it’s never been done before,” DWTS pro Witney Carson said on GMA, emphasizing what fans can expect from the event. “You’re going to have access to pros and celebrities, which is really fun, and we’re just really excited to see you guys there.”

There are several presales before the tickets go on sale to the public, which starts on Saturday at 10 a.m. PST, per Ticketmaster.
