Virginia HBCUs halting activity due to threats

Two HBCUs in Virginia have shut down their campuses for Thursday due to threats.

Hampton University and Virginia State both announced campus closures after receiving threats. No further information has been made public, but both schools have encouraged boarding students to stay in their dorms, commuter students to stay off campus and non-essential personnel/activities to stay clear.

Virginia State has shut down for Thursday while Hampton announced closure for Thursday and Friday. No word if athletic events or other campus activities are affected by these closures.
