The University of Vermont Press has partnered with the Society for Black Military Studies to launch the Journal of Black Military Studies. The multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal will feature articles that discuss, analyze, and document the military experience in context of the Black diaspora. Scholars will be able to publish their work without fees and their articles will be freely available to the public. Françoise N.
