Tyler Perry has set his latest Netflix series, the firefighter drama series Tyler Perry’s Where There’s Smoke, with Tyler Lepley, Mike Merrill and Da’Vinchi set to star.
Lepley will play Owen, Merrill will play Cameron and Da’Vinchi will play Noah.
Other stars include Eltony Williams as Jermaine, Brock O’Hurn as Ethan, Joe Hunter as Chief Bailey, Karen Obilom as Laura, Brittany S. Hall as Angela, Mariah Goodie as Rhonda, Jordan Rodriguez as Brent and Judi Moon as Darcy.
The series falls under Perry’s Netflix creative partnership that sees him write, direct and produce feature films and series, with the latter also being under a multi-year first look deal. The season will have sixteen hour-long episodes.

Angi Bones and Tony Strickland produce for Tyler Perry Studios. The series joins Tyler Perry projects at the streamer, including the series Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black, which was recently renewed for its third and final season.
