Tuskegee kicker Lorcan Ryans was public enemy No. 1 at the Turkey Day Classic

The Turkey Day Classic between Tuskegee and Alabama State took an unexpected turn when a kicker became part of the halftime story.

Tuskegee kicker Lorcan Ryans was captured on video appearing to gesture toward fans and then shove a member of the Alabama State marching band.

Video circulating on social media shows the junior kicker walking toward a section of Hornets fans near the north end zone while warming up, and then extending a middle finger.

Moments later, the video showed Ryans pushing a band member who was setting up for the halftime performance.

Alabama State issued a statement in response to the incident, though no ejections or penalties were reported during the game.

Ryans, a 5-foot-9, 225-pound specialist from Limerick, Ireland, has served as the Golden Tigers’ primary kicker.

As of Saturday, it remained unclear whether any disciplinary action would be taken against Ryans.
