By Emmanuel Freeman Tennessee State University, a leader in agricultural and environmental sciences, played a major role in this year’s World Food Prize Foundation Conference, which convened over 1,200 participants from more than 60 countries to engage in critical discussions on global food security, diversification, and sustainability in agriculture. An 1890 Land-Grant institution, TSU attracts significant funding and grants from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, contributing to its mission of fostering innovation and enhancing food accessibility.
