20th Century Studios released the final trailer on Monday for “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” featuring an original song titled “Runway” performed by Lady Gaga and Doechii.
The studio also unveiled a limited-edition promotional Runway Magazine, set to launch in print on April 13. Issues will be available at pop-up newsstands in Los Angeles, New York City, and select locations nationwide, as well as online at RunwayOnline.com.
The sequel reunites Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci, who originated the roles of Miranda, Andy, Emily, and Nigel, respectively, 20 years after the 2006 original. The cast is currently on a global promotional tour, with Streep and Hathaway stopping in Tokyo on Monday. A lookbook documenting cast ensembles will be updated following each event.
Director David Frankel and screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna return alongside the original cast, which also includes Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman reprising their roles as Lily and Irv. New additions to the cast include Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, and B.J. Novak.
The film is produced by Wendy Finerman and executive produced by Michael Bederman, Karen Rosenfelt, and McKenna.
“The Devil Wears Prada 2” opens exclusively in theaters May 1. Tickets are on sale now through Fandango and other ticketing outlets.
