Drake voiced his grievances, including criticism of musician Steve Lacy, during streamer xQc’s livestream Sunday night.
Drake commented on Lacy’s “fragility” during xQc livestream
The Canadian rapper took aim at several of his rivals, including Kendrick Lamar, during the nearly 12-minute livestream.
He later addressed Lacy, a Lamar ally and collaborator, who has appeared with Lamar referencing his issue with the Compton native.
“This guy’s like a fragile opp,“ Drake said when xQc played one of Lacy’s songs. “But this is a good song though.”
When the 29-year-old asked Drake what he meant by that, the “One Dance“ artist replied, “Chat knows what I’m talking about. Fragility.”

Lacy clapped back at Drake with several Instagram posts
After Lacy caught wind of the diss, he trolled Drake with several Instagram updates.
Lacy reshared a Complex post of Drake with the “fragile opp“ comment to his Stories with the rapper’s 2019 single “I Get Lonely.”
The 26-year-old then shared a picture of himself with xQc’s signature “finger heart“ gesture and captioned it, “WAITTTTTT LMAOOOO WHAT IN THE.“
Lacy was on a roll with his petty clapbacks against Drake. His third post was backed by Ginuwine’s “So Anxious,” writing, “who tryna be my…fragile opp,“ in the post’s caption.
Twitter fans backed Lacy in the Drake feud
Lacy also made a cameo in the video to Lamar’s viral diss track “Not Like Us“ and his performance at the Compton rapper’s June Ken & Friends concert, Blavity reported.
Drake’s comments went viral on X, formerly Twitter, with users calling him out and backing Lacy on the platform.
“Steve Lacy washes drake on his best day,“ one user said. “The drug and alcohol addiction must be getting to his head to go on a white guys stream and talk down on black artists….. hope he gets the help he needs.”

“Calling Steve lacy a ‘fragile opp’ is crazy he literally don’t do s**t and his discography is insane Steve lacy can be Drake but Drake could never be Steve lacy,” a third user commented.
