Son of NFL great Anquan Boldin exiting Florida A&M basketball for transfer portal

Anquan Boldin Jr., the son of former NFL star Anquan Boldin, has entered the transfer portal after one season at Florida A&M.

The 6-foot-4 guard has one season of eligibility remaining and is now looking for his next stop after spending the 2025-26 campaign with the Rattlers, according to 247 Sports.

Boldin began his college career at Buffalo after arriving as a Class of 2023 recruit from IMG Academy. He played in 53 games and made 49 starts over two seasons with the Bulls, averaging 7.5 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.

He transferred to Florida A&M for the 2025-26 season and appeared in 22 games, making five starts while averaging 5.8 points and 18 minutes per contest.

Boldin was recruited by Charlie Ward

Florida A&M is coached by Charlie Ward, the former Florida State quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner who later played 11 seasons in the NBA. Ward led the Rattlers to a 15-16 record in his first season and run all the way to the SWAC tournament semifinals.

Boldin now becomes one of the latest players to re-enter the portal, with his next destination set to complete his college career.
