The Victoria’s Secret brand is revisiting its 2000s aesthetic, this time with Hailey Bieber at the forefront.
The newest “A Very VS Valentine’s” line expressly takes inspiration from a 2001 campaign. Bieber sports red lace, pink floral, and strappy black bodysuits, as well as silky PJs, meant to evoke love and make a strong fashion statement. When fashion seemed to exhaust itself with Y2K trends, Victoria’s Secret discovered one that doesn’t feel repetitive. It feels refreshing.
Bieber pays homage to the brand’s “supermodel era” and the Gisele Bündchen years. She calls back to a photograph from a 2001 Victoria’s Secret fragrance catalog, in which she sits in the bottom drawer of a dresser, painting her toenails.

The Valentine’s Day campaign is fronted by Isabeli Fontana, Maty Fall Diba, and Alexis Carrington and features bras, panties, lingerie, and sleepwear adorned with roses and hearts. Although it is a tribute to their 2001 perfume campaign, there is not a perfumed product in sight.
The collection blends 2000s nostalgia with contemporary elements such as lace-trim garters and pastel hues. Prices begin at $30 for bras, teddies, and sleepwear.
Bieber, who has been a part of VS Collective since 2021, is the primary face of the launch. The model and influencer exudes confidence and ‘post-baby’ chic and is scheduled to launch on February 14.
Love it or hate it, Victoria’s Secret has managed to ensure that its past is just about edgy enough for the current generation.
