Pictures comes BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE, the long-awaited sequel to Tim Burton’s 1988 cult classic, which makes its worldwide streaming premiere on Friday, December 6, exclusively on Max. The film will also air on HBO linear on Saturday, December 7, at 6:10 p.m. ET.
A Legacy Revisited
Oscar® nominee Director Tim Burton and Oscar® nominee legendary actor Michael Keaton reunite in this sequel that expands the hauntingly whimsical world of Beetlejuice. Picking up immediately after a tragic event brings three generations of the Deetz family back to their Winter River home, Lydia Deetz’s teenage daughter, Astrid, inadvertently finds the strange attic model of the town and accidentally opens a portal to the Afterlife. With tensions building in both the mortal and spirit realms, it takes little time for someone to exclaim the infamous name three times, unleashing the pandemonium of Beetlejuice himself.
