Spanish singer Rosalía is opening up about a very intimate experience, discussing what she called the most disappointing thing a former boyfriend ever told her.
In an episode of the Special People Club podcast, Rosalía, a two-time Grammy winner, talked about a past relationship and a particular experience that prompted her to leave a former boyfriend once and for all.
According to Rosalía, she was in a relationship with this person for a number of years before they decided to call it quits. However, a week after they broke up, they got back together, but the reunion did not go well.
“I had a boyfriend that was a bit Morse code, emotionally,” Rosalía said. “We were together for a few years, and we broke up. But a week after the breakup, we relapsed and got together again.”
During this reunion, Rosalía’s ex-boyfriend used words that completely floored her.
“At a certain moment, he lets go of me and says, ‘How I’ve missed my whore,’” Rosalía told her audience. “When he said that, I froze… once I was able to react, I got up and left and never returned.”
Although Rosalía did not name this ex-boyfriend, she did not provide further details about when the relationship occurred.
