Two of HBCU football’s most dynamic programs will play a home-and-home series spread out over three seasons.
2023 Celebration Bowl champion Florida A&M and 2022 Celebration Bowl champion North Carolina Central have agreed to a two-year series beginning in 2025, according to a report from FBSSchedules.com.
The first meeting will take place this season on Saturday, Oct. 11, at Bragg Memorial Stadium. N.C. Central’s turn to host FAMU at O’Kelly-Riddick Stadium will be Oct. 2, 2027.
This series will mark the first time Florida A&M and North Carolina Central have met on the football field in six seasons. FAMU won their last match-up, 28-21, during the 2019 season.
These teams have met 13 times overall, and the Rattlers hold an 8-4-1 all-time lead dating back to 1939.H
