Mt. Joy Release New Single “She Wants To Go Dancing”

Fresh off a sold-out performance at New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden, Mt. Joy are back with a new energetic single “She Wants To Go Dancing.” The song channels a lively, danceable vibe that’s already making waves, as the track blends a disco-tinged rhythm with the band’s signature indie rock sound.

They first teased the track “She Wants To Go Dancing” at recent tour stops where it received a rousing reception. It comes hot on the heels of a succession of chart-toppers in recent months: a new version of “Highway Queen” featuring country star Maren Morris, who, together with the violinist Lindsey Stirling, joined in a surprise appearance during the band’s show at Madison Square Garden.

Mt. Joy’s previous singles “Highway Queen,” “Lemon Tree,” and “Silver Lining” all charted, with the latter two reaching No. 1 at AAA radio, while “Highway Queen” reached the Top 5. This latest single keeps the momentum going and cements the band’s status as one of the most exciting live acts in America today.

The band has just wrapped up a long, sold-out tour of North America that included stops in Philadelphia, Nashville, and Chicago. They also appeared at some of the big festivals-Bourbon & Beyond and Oceans Continuing their work with HeadCount, a non-partisan voter registration initiative that supported fans in registering to vote at shows.

The summer also saw Mt. Joy headline such iconic venues as The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and Red Rocks Amphitheatre, including sharing the stage at Fenway Park with Noah Kahan for two co-headlining shows. In any case, with such explosive performances and skilled musicianship, and undeniable chemistry from this group, they’re fast-forwarding themselves to household name status.

Listeners can check out “She Wants To Go Dancing” and witness the next chapter in Mt. Joy’s meteoric rise.
