Morehouse College unveiled its 2026 football schedule, highlighted by a season-opening neutral-site matchup, historic rivalries and marquee classics.
The Maroon Tigers will kick off the season Aug. 29 against Arkansas-Pine Bluff in the Nature State Kickoff Classic in Little Rock, Ark. The game marks the debut of new head coach Brad Sherrod on the Morehouse sideline.
Morehouse opens SIAC play Sept. 5 against rival Clark Atlanta in the Big Cat Classic during Labor Day Weekend. Both programs will feature new head coaches making their conference debuts in the rivalry matchup.
The Maroon Tigers return home Sept. 12 to host Central State, then travel to Lane College on Sept. 19 for another conference test. They’ll be back in Atlanta on Sept. 26 to face Edward Waters on Senior Day.
