Anime fans will be having one heck of a start for 2025, as the highly anticipated anime adaptation SAKAMOTO DAYS is eyed to release on Netflix this coming January. Based on the highly acclaimed manga series, serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since 2020, SAKAMOTO DAYS has gained an enormous amount of viewership who have been rooting for the adventures of the characters, and they are quite excited to see them move on the screen.
Joining the already star-studded voice cast are the following new cast to play members of The Order, an organization responsible for taking out high-level targets in the assassin world. Assassins of this nature would be tasked with eliminating rogue killers along with other external forces who would seek to destabilize the overall effectiveness of the JAA.
The newly announced cast includes:
- Natsuki Hanae (Demon Slayer‘s Tanjiro Kamado, Dandadan‘s Okarun) as Nagumo, the elite killer and former partner of Sakamoto. Even in casual attire, he is cool and deadly.
- Taku Yashiro (*Hirokazu Arai from *Chainsaw Man*) for *Shishiba*: an airy character with composure, balancing out his team with his level-headedness and dependability in strength. He often appears along with his partner, Osaragi.
- Saori Hayami (Spy × Family) as Osaragi, the impulsive, wild-card assassin who joined The Order upon Sakamoto’s retirement. She is playful in nature but has incredible fighting abilities that make her a force to be feared.
Along with the casting news, a brand-new special artwork has been revealed showing off the trio of Nagumo, Shishiba, and Osaragi. The art really catches the mystifying aura these elite assassins give off, each uniquely donning their personality and role within the group.
Secondly, the official teaser will also give them a glimpse into the world of SAKAMOTO DAYS and provide an idea about the sequence of actions and relationships between characters.
