Brooklyn-based artist Leaf is starting a new chapter with the latest release, “In Your Dreams.” This pop-infused album continues the momentum from the Dreamgirl era while exploring the themes of feminine power, manifestation, and self-empowerment.
The album coincides with the official video for the Lead single, “Nobody,” featuring Groovy. “In Your Dreams” is a bold evolution of who I am as an artist.”
The album follows the successful, catchy vibe of the artist’s 2024 breakthrough album, “Dreamgirl.” This featured collaborations with Cash Cobain, Lay Bankz, and Baby Tate, and the album was included on major streaming playlists. “In Your Dreams” continues the momentum with the high-energy tracks “Revenge,” “Trust Funds” featuring Deto Black, “The Lead” featuring Lexy Pantera, and “Stunt on You” featuring Cleotrapa and Deto Black. There’s also a remixed version of “Sponsor RMX” featuring Scarlip, continuing the momentum from the artist’s 2025 single “Sponsor.”
The eight tracks begin with an intro and range across pop, R&B, and hip-hop before culminating in the original “Sponsor.”
Leaf’s journey to success was not immediate; before the buzz of streaming and live shows, she wrote in a journal about the life she wanted while living in the New York housing project, Baruch Houses. After a housing setback, she visited an apartment complex that resembled her vision board, moved in with little to nothing, and over time created the space she had written about. She says that “In Your Dreams” is the soundtrack to that.
Growing up in a musical family, Leaf attended LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts. She started making beats as a teenager, which eventually led to the sound that she has today, a mix of the musical vibes of NYC.
In addition to her musical career, Leaf is making moves in the fashion and beauty industry, working with Pat McGrath and modeling for Calvin Klein, Good American, and Baby Phat.
Leaf’s “In Your Dreams” continues to build on the world that she has created, inspiring ambition, confidence, and growth.
