A murder and a lot of secrets are the focus of the first full trailer for Imperfect Women, the upcoming Apple TV series starring Kerry Washington, Elisabeth Moss and Kate Mara.
The trailer teases the death of the latter, and all of the drama that seems to ensue before it and in its wake.
The series also stars Joel Kinnaman, Corey Stoll, Leslie Odom Jr., Audrey Zahn, Jill Wagner, Rome Flynn, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Violette Linnz, Indiana Elle, Jackson Kelly, Keith Carradine, Ana Ortiz, Wilson Bethel and Sherri Saum.
Imperfect Women is based on the novel of the same name by Araminta Hall and created for television by Annie Weisman.
What’s the plot of ‘Imperfect Women’?
Here’s the official description:
Imperfect Women examines a crime that shatters the lives of a decades-long friendship of three women. The unconventional thriller explores guilt and retribution, love and betrayal, and the compromises we make that alter our lives irrevocably. As the investigation unfolds, so does the truth about how even the closest friendships may not be what they seem.
The series is a co-production between 20th Television and Apple Studios. Weismen is the showrunner and executive produces. Other executive producers are Moss and Lindsay McManus for their Love & Squalor Pictures, as well as Washington and Pilar Savone for the former’s Simpson Street. Hall also executive produces with writer Kay Oyegun. Lesli Linka Glatter directed Episodes 1, 4 and 5 and executive produces them.
When does ‘Imperfect Women’ premiere?
