Kehlani Tells ICE Agents They Are Dead to Her in Viral PSA

Kehlani

R&B singer Kehlani has warned everyone working for the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency to stay away from her and delete all her music from their smartphones in her Instagram post.

According to her Instagram story, which has now been taken down, Kehlani said, “public service announcement don’t ever fix your mouth to speak to me or ask for a photo or compliment me if you work for ICE. i’m dead to u don’t acknowledge me and delete all my music.”

It was a follow-up to her ongoing campaign against the agency after she won two Grammy Awards in February, namely Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song.

She criticized the federal immigration enforcement agency during her acceptance speeches for her victories.

Her latest social media post sparked off debate among netizens who reacted differently to her comments.

Many of her fans agreed with her, but others felt her words were only lip service, as the immigration agency has been around for more than two decades.

“Nobody quitting their jobs because of you… Being a celebrity and a star are two totally different things… believe no one is losing any sleep over this,” read one of the comments posted under her latest Instagram story.

“Don’t talk to me if you have a job with an organization that has been around for two decades… ” said another commenter.

There was at least one very angry person who wished that anyone who came forward and wanted to meet her would die soon.
