Jada Kingdom isn’t seeking permission for her upcoming EP, “Just A Girl In A Money Man’s World,” which is set to be released on January 21st, following her phenomenal year of viral song-and-dance performances.
Kingdom reveals the money man isn’t a face and that she seeks control on this EP.
“The money man isn’t a face, it’s a mindset,” Jada told Where Is The Buzz. “It’s how power moves, who gets taken seriously, and who’s expected to stay quiet.”
“I’m not here to destroy the system or pretend it doesn’t affect me. I pay attention. I learn the patterns. And then I move how I want inside it,” she says. “This EP isn’t about rebellion or mix-up for show, it’s about control. Knowing the game well enough that you don’t have to announce your next move.”
“G.A.D.” Confirmed the Direction She Was Already On
“G.A.D.” was released on March 21st, 2025, and became a big hit after her performance in the On The Radar video, gaining over a million views on Instagram and TikTok within a short time.
“G.A.D.” reached number 3 on Apple Music’s Top 25 Kingston Chart, becoming the highest-charting song by a female artist at the time, while it entered the Top 5 on Shazam in various countries.
Jada talks about the EP’s energy.
“The first feeling is a sense of relief, like, ‘Okay, they’re really hearing me,’” she says. “Most of the tracks on this EP were recorded at the same time as ‘G.A.D.’ This energy has been there all along.”
She continues, “And the success of the song didn’t make me more fearless; it just confirmed that I was right.”
“It didn’t alter our direction. It indicated we were already going in the right direction.”
What Did Critics Say About Jada Kingdom’s G.A.D?
Billboard was impressed by Jada’s ability to take apart local terminology with a feminist twist, calling it “a terrific track.” Stereogum enjoyed the track’s nostalgic yet “forward-thinking” production: “2000s pop revival.”
Other news platforms that covered her musical genres include HNHH, Kaboom Mag, The Star, Caribbean National Weekly, and MusicxClusives.
Jada, however, measures impact differently.
“‘It’s not just sung, but said,’” she continues. “When you hear your song being spoken, you know your song is greater than its time.’”
Jada can already see her next hit song.
“I see ‘Nttn But PumPum’ trending in the same way,” Jada reveals.
How Did Jada Kingdom Go Global?
In 2025, Jada performed at UBS Arena in New York in May, at Soak’d Pineapple x SANDZ Ultra Weekend in London in August, and at Vybz Kartel’s Freedom Street Europe in Malta in September.
Jada reveals her favorite performances in 2025.
“New York tests you,” she says. “You feel like every eye is on you.”
“London gives love right away. It’s loud and real.”
“Malta was different, too,” Jada says. “The connection there definitely seemed deliberate.”
“The biggest lesson she has taken away from all of this has been the recognition of the fact that she does not.
“My confidence, my humor, my control, they go everywhere with me,” she says. “I don’t have to change who I am.”
What Jada Kingdom’s Songs Fans Should Be Excited For?
In Just A Girl In A Money Man’s World, Jada displays a mix of vulnerability and strength. She identifies the first three songs as indicative of the range of emotions displayed in the project.
“Soul For Sale is soft but dangerous,” she says. “It’s vulnerability without giving anything away.”
“Don’t Talk To Me” is the boundary-setting song.
“That’s me drawing a line and standing on it.”
And ‘G.A.D.’ now has a life of its own.
“That one’s a chant,” she says.
In musical terms, the EP combines contemporary dancehall with pop and R&B, taking inspiration from artists such as Nina Simone, Sade, and Amy Winehouse but maintaining a Jamaican vibe.
What’s Next For Jada Kingdom?
Jada’s figuring out how the industry operates and thriving in it. “I know the game well enough that I don’t have to announce my next move,” she says.
She made this move official on January 21st, 2026.
