Is Sadie Sink In The ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Trailer? Peter Parker (Re)introduces Himself To MJ In Footage

The first trailer for the upcoming film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, has been released, and we are getting the first footage of Tom Holland’s Peter Parker in a world where no one remembers him.

Coming back for the first time since 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, this is Holland’s fourth Spider-Man solo film and overall his seventh MCU movie.

At the end of No Way Home, Peter let everyone forget his identity in order to save the multiverse from collapsing. Now, he has a new suit, and is dealing with the loss of Aunt May, while seeing MJ (Zendaya) and Ned (Jacob Batalon) live their lives as if he never existed…because he doesn’t.

MCU mainstay Mark Ruffalo is appearing as Bruce Banner / The Hulk in this film, as well as, in his first big-screen Marvel appearance, Jon Bernthal as The Punisher. Michael Mando is also bringing Scorpion back, having last appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Sadie Sink is in the trailer

New characters are played by Sadie Sink, who is in a highly secret undisclosed role, Tramell Tillman and Liza Colon-Zayas. Marvin Jones II is playing Tombstone. We get shots of Sink’s character, but none of her face directly, in the trailer.

Here’s what we know about the plot of the film

Here’s the official description:

Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.

The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the director of Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. It is produced by Kevin Feige, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad and Rachel O’Connor. Executive producers are Louis D’Esposito and David Cain.
