According to a report by CBS Sports reporter Matt Zenitz, Jackson is one of a few names in consideration for the vacant Sacramento State football job.
Jackson, who led the Hornets to their best record since 2007, is included in a candidate pool that includes former Stanford coach Troy Taylor and Arizona assistant head coach and running backs coach Alonzo Carter.
