A new head coach is not the only change coming to Clark Atlanta football.
HBCUGo posted a quick video on X, formerly known as Twitter, that appears to give a sneak peek at a new turf color for the Panthers, who hired Teddy Keaton away from Allen University this offseason.

The video, credited to TikTok user @theauccentrallc, shows red turf with black end zones being laid down at Panther Stadium.
The Panthers are looking to shake things up after an 0-10 season that saw SIAC legend Willie Slater fired as head coach just halfway through the season. CAU has not had a winning season since 2008.
They hired Keaton, who led Allen to a 6-3 record in their final transition year from an NAIA program to an NCAA Division II program and full SIAC member. Keaton brought quarterback David Wright III, last season’s conference offensive player of the year, with him.
The Panthers were picked 10th in the 13-team SIAC in the preseason polls.
