A Brazilian motorbike influencer has died after a nasty crash on Tuesday morning, and just after that, her dad, a police officer who came to assist at the scene, also died after he found his daughter on the road.
Karla Thaynnara, 25, lost control of her motorbike on March 3rd and crashed into a car before being thrown onto the road, and then a lorry came and ran over her.
Responding to the accident were police and other emergency services. Among the police responding to the accident was her dad, José Carlos Andrade Nogueira, a cop who had been sent out to the scene.
When Nogueira realized that it was his daughter on the road, he died shortly after, before other police officers could intervene.
Thaynnara’s social media posts mostly featured her life, including her love of motorbikes, her gym workout routine, and her time with her dad and her 7-year-old daughter.
Thaynnara worked as a nurse and also worked selling her consignments at a local motorcycle shop, NeedToKnow reported. Her friends and followers remember her as a young mom who always spoke about overcoming hard times.
She wrote on Instagram in August 2025 about buying a house for herself and her daughter.
“It’s more than just four walls and a roof. It’s proof that dreams really do come true when you don’t give up,” Thaynnara wrote.
Thaynnara revealed that her daughter was born when she was 17.
“I was just 17, holding a four-month-old. I didn’t have much, but I didn’t have determination and a huge drive to build a better life,” Thaynnara wrote. “There were sleepless nights, rough days, and tears no one saw. But there was also strength, resilience, and faith.”
She said that her “arents helped her get on with her life.
“None of this would have happened without my parents. Their support and belief in me gave me the foundation to keep going,” Thaynnara wrote.
Thaynnara and her father will be laid to rest on Wednesday, March 4th, according to her family.
Authorities say that the details of the accident are still under investigation.
