Bill Cosby Admits To Obtaining Quaaludes To Give Women, Deposition Reveals

A newly surfaced deposition testimony revealed that Bill Cosby admitted to obtaining quaaludes for recreational use, hoping to use the drugs on women before having sex with them.

Where did Cosby get the quaaludes from?

Cosby, 88, acknowledged under oath that he obtained a recreational prescription for the sedative from a gynecologist during poker games before 1972 at his Los Angeles home.

He said he refilled the quaaludes seven times with the aim of giving them to women during sexual encounters, and that he never took the drug himself, according to newly surfaced legal documents from a civil lawsuit filed by Donna Motsinger, one of Cosby’s accusers, according to TMZ.

Motsinger accused Cosby of drugging and raping her in 1972 when she was working as a server at the Trident restaurant in Sausalito, California.

In her lawsuit, she claimed that the once-beloved actor and comedian gave her a pill, which she thought was aspirin. After taking it, Motsinger said she went in and out of consciousness and woke up the following day in her house, wearing only her panties, per TMZ.

Cosby reportedly called the drug ‘disco biscuits’

The gynecologist who gave Cosby the pills, Dr. Leroy Amar, had his license revoked in California in 1979, according to TMZ.

Andrew Wyatt, Cosby’s former crisis manager, joined Jesse Weber Live on Wednesday, stating that he spoke with Cosby and asked him about the allegations, which he denied, and about having the drug in his possession, News Nation reported.

“He said, ‘Andrew, I wouldn’t take you through the valley of shame,’” Wyatt said on the program.

Wyatt said Cosby did admit to having the quaaludes but maintains his innocence about raping Motsinger and other women.

“He said, ‘Yes, I had quaaludes. Quaaludes was called ‘disco biscuits,’ and all of the entertainers had them,’” Wyatt said.

Cosby has faced legal trouble and civil lawsuits from dozens of past accusers over the years, and the newly surfaced legal documents raise questions about what could come next for him.
