Bill Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, is making headlines this weekend as she and the Patriots coach were seen in public for the first time since he failed to make the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
Belichick, 73, and his girlfriend were seen at a University of North Carolina men’s basketball game on Saturday. This comes just a few days after he failed to secure 40 votes for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, which surprised many in the world of football.
Hudson, known for wearing game-day gear to show her support for Belichick and his team, wore a shirt featuring the Orchids of Asia Day Spa logo, a massage parlor in Jupiter, Florida. This is a big deal because Patriots owner Robert Kraft is associated with this business.
Kraft, who is 84 years old, was charged in February 2019 along with others for allegedly paying to have sex with a person in a prostitution investigation. He pleaded not guilty to these charges, but they were eventually dropped after the court ruled the videos were inadmissible as evidence because of a privacy violation.
Belichick coached the Patriots for 23 years under Robert Kraft, winning six Super Bowls with Tom Brady. They stopped working together after the 2023 season, in which the Patriots went 4-13. This was initially described as a mutual decision, but Robert Kraft later said he had actually fired Bill Belichick.
There have been hints of tension between them over the years, especially regarding Brady’s departure from the Patriots.
Hudson has also been vocal about her discontent with the Pro Football Hall of Fame since the voting results were announced.
She shared a screenshot of an email from the Pro Football Hall of Fame cancelling her order for three patches and expressed her disbelief that the reason given was “unforeseen circumstances.”
According to People Magazine, Hudson has been planning a major celebration for Belichick on Aug. 8, which also happens to be the day of the Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
A source said that there was some chatter among their friends that Hudson and Belichick would announce their engagement or marriage on that day, but that does not seem to be the case.
Belichick has just completed his first season as head coach at the University of North Carolina after leaving the Patriots, and he has a coaching record of 333-178 in the NFL, including playoff victories.
This record makes him second all-time in coaching victories, behind Don Shula, who has won 347 games.
It has been speculated that past controversies involving the team, such as the Spygate and Deflategate scandals, may have influenced voters’ decisions.
A statement from the Pro Football Hall of Fame said that “we do not comment on the voting of the Selection Committee” and that “the Class of 2026 will be announced during the NFL Honors event in San Francisco.”
