‘Bass X Machina’ Netflix Adult Animated Series To Star Brian Tyree Henry, Janelle Monáe, Tati Gabrielle And Cree Summer

Netflix has announced a new, adult animated series, and the cast is stacked. Brian Tyree Henry is starring in and executive producing the series. He will play the title character of Bass.

He’s joined in the series by Janelle Monáe as Glory, Tati Gabrielle as Dana, Cree Summer as Ahni, Chaske Spencer as Lighthorse, Currie Graham as Rivenbark and Starletta DuPois as Etta.

Here’s the description: In a lawless Steampunk West overrun by brutal outlaws, machines, and supernatural terrors, a father is forced to become judge, jury, and executioner—knowing that every act of justice meant to protect his family may ultimately cost him the very people he’s fighting to save.

The original music for Bass X Machina will be produced by Roman GianArthur and Nate Wonder at Monáe’s Wondaland.
