Ashlee Braxton, the niece of Toni Braxton, Trina Braxton, Towanda Braxton and the late Traci Braxton, took to social media on Dec. 18 to allege that one of her aunts no longer talks to her. has stopped talking to her.
In a two-part video on TikTok, Ashlee, the 32-year-old daughter of Michael Braxton Jr., alleged that one of her aunts’ partner sent her inappropriate messages when she was 16 years old.

Ashlee said the problem started when she and her sister spent a summer with one of her aunts. After the sisters returned home from their visit, Ashlee said the aunt’s partner sent her inappropriate messages.
“When I leave her partner, her husband at the time, decides to start sexting me. So, texting in a sexual manner,” she said. “There was nothing physical that happened. Absolutely nothing.”
Ashlee said her stepmother looked through her phone that summer and saw the text messages she received from her partner. She didn’t name which aunt in her video.
“My aunt was there for me. She was very kind, very nice and was like ‘I’m so sorry that this happened to you.’ She was very kind, and it just felt safe,” she said in her video. “But then, as the years have gone by, it’s like that mood and that assumption that I didn’t do anything because I was a child was not that assumption anymore.”
The shift in energy was mind-boggling, Ashlee said. She added how she didn’t ask to be put in this position and it’s not fair for her aunt either.
“When I say all this is not a dig to my family member because it’s really sad that she also was put in that situation of having to deal and having to handle,” she said. “I don’t wish that upon anyone either. There’s sympathy there, but there’s also so many other aspects of it when you’re a child and you’re denied a voice.”
The 32-year-old said she feels better when she tells her story to the public.
“This is not a space and place for me to trash my family’s name. It’s a space and place for me to talk about something I’ve gone through and to be able to make light of a situation that a lot of us have gone through that were completely silenced,” she said. “And for the first time in a really long time, I just feel like I wanna help other people and I feel free.”
