Filming has started on the holiday family comedy The Man with the Bag, from Amazon MGM Studios. Action icon Arnold Schwarzenegger reunites with Reacher and Fast X star Alan Ritchson in what’s set to be an action-heavy yet warm holiday story.
From director Adam Shankman (Hairspray, Disenchanted) and with a script by Allan Rice, The Man with the Bag puts a new twist on the holiday heist movie genre. Promising to offer laughs galore and action-packed thrills for audiences of all ages.
Plot Details
The story kicks off with Santa Claus facing an urgent crisis: his magical bag has been stolen. To retrieve it, he enlists the help of Vance, a cunning thief from his notorious naughty list. Joined by Vance’s daughter and a ragtag group of misfits, the unlikely team must execute the most daring heist ever-one that could save Christmas itself.
