Apple TV+ Reveals “Silo” Season 2 Trailer – New Episodes Start November 15, 2024

Apple TV+ has today unveiled the trailer for the sophomore season of its worldwide phenomenon drama, Silo, written by Hugh Howey and based on his New York Times best-selling trilogy of dystopian novels. Created by Emmy-nominated screenwriter Graham Yost, who will also serve as showrunner, the highly anticipated 10-episode second season will make its global debut on Friday, November 15, with subsequent episodes releasing one week apart, every Friday through January 17, 2025.

This critically acclaimed series is back for more riveting world-building, set to another gripping narrative, as it follows the lives of the last ten thousand people on Earth. Survivors live in an underground silo a mile beneath the surface, engineered to shield them from the outside environment-very toxic and deadly. But the true origins of this silo remain unknown, and those who venture too close to finding this truth usually die under very sad circumstances.

Leading the charge is Rebecca Ferguson as Juliette, an engineer-turned-investigator in the murder of a loved one, finding herself entangled in a conspiracy far greater than anything she could have ever imagined. This second season promises to delve further into the silo mysteries as Juliette’s quest for answers discloses that uncovering the truth could be as deadly as the lies which have kept them safe.

In addition to Ferguson, season two stars Steve Zahn and also includes returning cast members Tim Robbins, Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethwaite, Rick Gomez, Caitlin Zoz, Tanya Moodie, and Iain Glen.

“Silo” is produced for Apple TV+ by Apple Studios; Graham Yost, Michael Dinner and Nina Jack serve as executive producers for the series, alongside Joanna Thapa, Rebecca Ferguson, Morten Tyldum, Hugh Howey, Fred Golan, Rémi Aubuchon and AMC Studios.

The suspenseful storytelling and immersive production design didn’t go unnoticed during its first season, while the future one is highly expected to raise the stakes as Juliette’s journey deepens. More plot twists are heading viewers’ ways; high-stakes drama and an exciting continuation of the dystopian saga bring Silo back on Apple TV+ this November.
