Amy Luciani had a breakdown in a now-viral video in which she claimed that her husband, the former NBA star Dwight Howard, has a cocaine addiction. Furthermore, she claimed that CPS took her daughter from their home. The video has gone viral in no time, gathering more than 2 million views.
Amy gets teary-eyed in the video as she explains how police officers and CPS agents visit their home. She claimed that her marriage has put her and her children in danger. “To know me, you know I’m prideful and private. My marriage has put me in a really dangerous spot. CPS just took my stepdaughter because of her father.”
Amy claimed that police officers and CPS agents visited their home three times in less than three months. Moreover, the tension in their home is increasing. Amy claimed that she initially stood by her husband despite her fears.
“I stood by my husband, even though I was scared for myself. Whatever he wanted me to say, whatever it was, because this is my husband.”
Amy claimed that her husband has a cocaine addiction. Moreover, she claimed that she asked for counseling in their marriage. Amy claimed that she and her husband went to two different marriage counselors.
“I tried to get so much help. I asked for counseling in our marriage. We went through two different counselors. I keep telling people he needs some help.”
The couple got married in January 2025 after a highly publicized relationship. Luciani reveals to the audience that the marriage has lasted for about 14 to 15 months. She also reveals that the situation is getting overwhelming for her. “I’ve been with this man for 14 months. I can’t ruin my whole life for something he’s doing.”
In the video, Luciani also reveals that the man tried to coerce his 12-year-old son into lying about what was going on at home. She reveals that she recorded the incident to protect herself.
“I caught this man forcing our 12-year-old son to cover for him,” she reveals. “He was coaching our son to lie about me. I recorded it.”
She reveals that the situation finally got out of hand after she realized she could no longer stay quiet because of her loyalty to her husband.
“I love my husband. I don’t want to leave him,” she reveals. “But the positions he’s putting me in have gone too far. I can’t go down for what he’s doing.”
In the video, Luciani also reveals that the bag contains cocaine while asking for help for the man and worrying about the kids.
“This is trauma. This is everything he’s gone through,” she reveals. “But not the kids. I have to look out for the kids.”
The couple had filed for a divorce in July 2025 after rumors about drugs. However, they decided to reconcile. Luciani reveals that she decided to stay with the man after people around her told her not to leave the marriage.
“Everybody around me said you can’t leave your husband this soon,” she reveals. “You said through sickness and health.”
