For the past three seasons, an HBCU men’s basketball All-Star game has been a complimentary piece of the NCAA Division I men’s Final Four weekend in the host city.
This April, in conjunction with Final Four weekend, the women will have their chance.
HBCU All-Stars, LLC announced earlier this week that the inaugural HBCU Women’s Basketball All-Star game and the fourth edition of the men’s game will be played Sunday, Apr. 6, at Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas.
Athletes selected for the game will be chosen from a watch list of draft and pro-eligible athletes from Division I and Division II HBCUs scouted throughout the season by the HBCU All-Stars National Scouting Team.
The game is part of an entire week of events that features a pro combine, a college admissions fair, and more.
