A white social media influencer and correspondent is currently receiving a lot of backlash for allegedly using artificial intelligence to superimpose her face onto the body of a Black woman in a photo that was originally taken at the U.S. Open.

Lauren Blake Boultier, a social media influencer and correspondent, allegedly took a photo of a black influencer, superimposed her face onto the woman’s body, and then reposted the photo on social media, claiming that she was at the Miami Open.

Tatiana Elizabeth, the woman in the photo, however, spoke out on the social media app Threads, claiming that the photo was originally taken of her at the U.S. Open two years ago.

As news of the incident spread, Boultier removed the photo from the social media app, but she has yet to make any official statement or apology.

Many people are speaking out against the use of artificial intelligence to edit the photo and against Boultier for removing it without comment.

Boultier has yet to comment on the situation, and attempts to obtain a statement from her have been unsuccessful.
