Warner Bros. Pictures has now released the official teaser for ‘The End of Oak Street,’ a sci-fi drama about a well-kept street in suburbia that finds itself in an entirely unknown world after a mysterious cosmic event.
The film is about the Platt family and how they try to survive in a world unfamiliar to them after Oak Street is literally taken out of suburbia and deposited into the unknown. After facing all the perils this new world presents, they will have to stick together to get through what’s coming.
Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor star in this film, along with Maisy Stella and Christian Convery.
“The End of Oak Street” is directed and written by David Robert Mitchell and is produced by J.J. Abrams, Hannah Minghella, Jon Cohen, Mitchell, Matt Jackson, and Tommy Harper. The film is also produced by Chris Bender, Jake Weiner, Joanne Lee, and Leeann Stonebreaker, who serve as executive producers.
David Robert Mitchell is behind the camera and is again working with familiar collaborators such as Michael Gioulakis, Maya Shimoguchi, John Axelrad, Michael Giacchino, and Erin Benach.
“The End of Oak Street” is a collaboration between Bad Robot Productions and Jackson Pictures. Warner Bros. Pictures is responsible for distributing this film worldwide.
“The End of Oak Street” will begin seeking theaters and IMAX screenings in North America on Aug. 14, 2026, and in other countries on Aug. 12, 2026.
