Fruit Love Island Series On TikTok Catches Attention Of Millions Of Viewers

The internet has become obsessed with an AI-generated Love Island series. While it’s not officially associated with the real Love Island, the animated spinoff on TikTok has captured the attention of millions of viewers.

Who started the AI ‘Fruit Love Island’ series on TikTok?

The “AI Fruit Love Island” series was created by TikTok user @ai.cinema012. Much like the real dating show, the TikTok series features a cast of characters hoping to find the love of their lives. However, the AI-generated clips portray the contestants as different types of fruit.

“Welcome to fruit Love Island, where eight single fruits are about to flirt, fight and trust. Things get messy fast,” the creator wrote in the first video.

The four women in the TikTok series are portrayed as pineapple, strawberry, cherry and kiwi. Meanwhile, the men are depicted as banana, grape, orange and apple.

“AI Fruit Love Island,” which started on March 14, already features 19 short clips following the characters’ journey as they flirt and chat while navigating dramatic dating shenanigans.

‘Fruit Love Island’ has been viewed more than 10 million times

The AI series gained a massive number of views in just a few days. According to Forbes, each episode has been viewed more than 10 million times. The account has also amassed more than 300 million views, 23 million likes and 3.2 million followers.

According to the account’s bio, the goal is to release new episodes every day. The show also encourages interaction with viewers, asking people to provide plot suggestions involving “drama, messiness and backstabbing.”

Mimicking the original Love Island, the TikTok series features a host who shares viewer comments with the contestants. “Fruit Love Island” also encourages viewers to give their input on which characters would be best for each other.
