DeSean Jackson coached the Delaware State football team to FCS football’s biggest turnaround in his first season.
The opponents the Hornets will face in Year Two of the “Coach Jac” era will look to stop any further improvement as DSU released their 2026 football schedule Friday morning.
The Hornets will open the season Thursday Aug. 27 at Alumni Stadium against Stony Brook, along with a home game against Bowie State on Sept. 12.
The Hornets’ non-conference road schedule features William & Mary, South Florida and University of Albany.
Delaware State’s homecoming game is scheduled for Saturday Oct. 10 against Division II school Franklin Pierce University.
MEAC play begins Saturday Oct. 24 with a visit from North Carolina Central.
