The first trailer for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” was released after this crazy 24-hour global fan relay, as the sun came up around the world, culminating in a live trailer reveal at the Empire State Building.
The trailer was released by Tom Holland, who asked Spider-Man fans around the world to share their stories about how the character has affected them before showing exclusive preview clips.
Fans were called out one by one to make a continuous chain of excitement leading up to the actual trailer reveal.
The fan event culminated in New York, where Tom Holland joined some fans at the Empire State Building to premiere the official trailer.
Additionally, the iconic building will be illuminated in Spider-Man’s signature red and blue for the first time to celebrate the trailer’s premiere.
The film will mark a major milestone for the Spider-Man franchise, as the success of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” will make “Brand New Day” a turning point in Peter Parker’s adult life.
The film will follow Peter Parker as an adult living in isolation after choosing to delete himself from the memories of the people closest to him four years after the events of the last film.
Now, living as a full-time Spider-Man in a New York City that does not recognize him, Peter throws himself into his work of protecting New York. However, an increase in requests for his help begins to take its toll, prompting a mysterious physical transformation that could put his life at risk. Meanwhile, a new crime trend also emerges, creating one of his strongest challenges yet.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, this movie is based on the Marvel comics created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.
The movie’s producers include Kevin Feige, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, and Rachel O’Connor. The movie’s executive producers are Louis D’Esposito and David Cain.
The cast includes Holland, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo.
“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” will be shown exclusively in theaters starting July 31, 2026.
