The fact that Peacock is bringing back Love Island USA for an eighth season, with Ariana Madix reprising her role as host, as the show heads to Fiji for the next installment.
The new season is set to be released on Tuesday, June 2, at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET.
In addition to that, Peacock also announced that the spinoff show Love Island: Beyond the Villa is also coming back for another season. The second installment of the spinoff is set to premiere on Wednesday, April 15, with two episodes. After that, new episodes will be released every Wednesday at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET.
Beyond the Villa: Islanders Return to Real Life
The second installment of the spinoff is set to feature some of the fan favorites who took part in the seventh season of Love Island USA. The spinoff is set to follow some of the contestants from the seventh installment of Love Island USA as they return to their normal lives.
The contestants who are set to appear on the second installment of the spinoff are Bryan Arenales, Gracyn Blackmore, Jeremiah Brown, Clarke Carraway, Amaya Espinal, Hannah Fields, Pepe Garcia, Iris Kendall, TJ Palma, Andreina Santos, Chris Seeley, Belle-A Walker, Coco Watson, Taylor Williams, Charlie Georgio, and Austin Shepard.
Streaming Success for the Franchise
The Love Island USA reality show is still delivering big numbers for Peacock. The show’s seventh season has accumulated over 18.4 billion minutes streamed during its six-week run on the platform.
According to Peacock data, Love Island USA was also the No. 1 streaming original series in the United States for six consecutive weeks, indicating its growing cultural relevance.
The spinoff series is also doing well for Peacock. Love Island: Beyond the Villa season one was found to be Peacock’s most-watched unscripted original debut season.
