Former CIAA offensive player of the year joins Howard quarterback room

The Ted White era at Howard fittingly begins with an addition to the quarterback room.

Isaiah Freeman, who starred for Lincoln (Pa.) for two seasons before transferring to Hampton last season, announced Wednesday on social media that he will be joining the Bison for the 2026 season.

Freeman started as a true freshman at Lincoln in 2023, passing for over 2500 yards and 25 touchdowns, winning the CIAA offensive player of the year award in the process.

After the 2024 season he transferred to Hampton, where he split time with former South Carolina commit Braden Davis and Earl Woods III, completing 52 percent of passes for 343 yards and three touchdowns.
