Voorhees University selected for new HBCU Brilliance Initiative

Voorhees University is one of just 11 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) nationwide chosen to participate in the newly launched HBCU Brilliance Initiative, a program of Reinvestment Fund designed to strengthen HBCUs through financial support, technical assistance, and advisory services. The initiative provides selected schools with $40,000 grants and access to up to $1 million in flexible financing to support long-term institutional growth, infrastructure improvements, and fiscal stability. Organizers say the program also aims to bolster the social and economic wellbeing of the communities surrounding participating universities.
