The second annual Rochester HBCU Football Classic was held Saturday afternoon at the Rochester Community Sports Complex on Oak Street. The Central State University Marauders of Wilberforce, Ohio, took on the Lane College Dragons of Jackson, Tennessee. Organizers say Saturday’s football game is “the centerpiece” of the Baldwin Richardson Foods Frederick Douglass HBCU Classic Weekend of Hope. The weekend was put on to help connect Rochester high school students with higher education opportunities.
