The date marks what would have been the political activist’s 32nd birthday. Charlie was a good man — a devout husband, father, and friend. His life was shaped by his faith and the idea that in America, debate and discussion are crucial to the betterment of our country, said Sen. Rick Scott, a Republican who represents Florida, in a news release. Scott also said he is “proud to join together with my colleagues”
