Women’s Track and Field Dominates at the HBCU Indoor Championships

Howard University women’s track & field squad put on a dominant performance at the inaugural HBCU Indoor Championships in Louisville, Ky., hosted by Kentucky State University. Collectively, HU secured 11 victories on the afternoon. On the track, graduate Marcia Sey (London, United Kingdom) and senior Joslyn Crosby (Bossier City, La.) led the charge with a pair of wins. Sey won the 60-meter dash (7.46) and 60-meter hurdles (8.29) while the Louisiana native was victorious in the mile run (5:26.76) and 3K run (10:40.28). Second-year Bison Aiyana Gray-Williams (Winston-Salem, N.C.) and DMV native Tiffani-Rae Pittman (Bowie, Md.) placed first (23.91) and second (24.72), respectively, in the 200-meter dash. Junior Kiya
