Andrew Jones, the Grambling State linebacker who entered the transfer portal after being named co-SWAC Defensive Player of the Year, has a new home.
Jones announced that he has committed to South Carolina. He has one year of eligibility left after previously transferring from Memphis.

Jones, ranked by On3Sports as the No. 9 linebacker in the transfer portal, had offers from Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, and Georgia State, among others.
In 2024, Jones compiled 122 total tackles, 20.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, and a defensive touchdown for Grambling.
