Dominika Elischerova, a 23-year-old Czech influencer and amateur fighter, also known as Mina, has passed away following an accident involving a truck while on her way to Muay Thai training.
The accident occurred while riding her scooter to training when a truck ran her over. She was rushed to a hospital for treatment, but her injuries were too severe for her to be saved.
The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson confirmed her death and said that help was provided to her immediately, but her life could not be saved.
Her teammate, Samir Margina, witnessed the accident and said that many attempts were made to revive her.
“Mina’s heart stopped three times now, for the fourth time, she’s gone into a coma four times. She’s in very bad shape. Please, everyone, pray for her.”
Margina also claimed that the hospital’s medical team was laughing as they tried to help her.
In her tribute to Elischerova on Instagram, Margina said: “You were the biggest fighter and always will be. Thank you for the beautiful experiences.”
Another friend and influencer, Adelka Soukupova, wrote: “Goodbye, sister. You will always be my older sister, someone I could confide in anytime. I love you.”
Elischerova had about 800,000 followers on social media. She had also been featured in “Clash of the Stars,” a Czech mixed martial arts television show.
On Instagram, “Clash MMA” wrote: “It is with deep sadness that we announce Dominika has sadly lost her final battle in the hospital. … Our wrestler, presenter, friend, and part of our family has passed away””
“We hope you’re looking down on us and watching over us. Your laughter, energy, and fight will never be forgotten. You were and always will be great.”
